These seminars will satisfy the requirement for 16 hours of continuing education credit necessary to renew all MN electrical licenses.

A Code class to help you understand & comply with the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) Changes.

  • This seminar is designed to assist any individuals currently working in the electrical industry.

  • This 2010 seminar will cover: services, feeder taps, grounding, panelboard requirements, motors, transformers, interconnected electrical power production systems, commercial garages, aircraft hangers, fuel dispensing, spray finishing, agricultural wiring, mobile homes, recreation vehicles, hot tubs, swimming pools, fire pumps, and emergency systems.

  • Through the use of the MWES booklet (provided at seminar), overhead transparencies (including site pictures), product samples, and class discussions, MWES will improve your understanding of the N.E.C. requirements.

Expert Instructors

All MWES instructors are Class A-Master electrician license holders, approved by the MN Department of Labor & Industry, Electrical Division as continuing education instructors, and are members of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.

Our instructor's expertise will give a practical understanding of the N.E.C.

MWES reserves the right to substitute Instructors, reschedule, or cancel classes as may be necessary.

Seminar Fee

The $275.00 registration fee includes;

Meals and refreshments:

  • Certificate of completion
  • MWES booklet with many useful illustrations
 

A 2008 N.E.C. book is required to complete this course.

Class Information

All classes are 2 days in length and are presented on Fridays and Saturdays.
Class times are from
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Registration: Friday 6:40-7:00 AM.
Two 8 hr. sessions for a total of 16 hours.

Refund Information

Refunds or transfers to other MWES seminars will not be made unless requested in writing at least five days prior to the registered class. All refunds and transfers are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.
